Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want every can to arrive intact and on time. When something goes wrong, we make it right. This policy covers how cancellations, returns, and refunds work for orders placed at madwaterco.com.
Order cancellations
- You may cancel an order any time before it has been dispatched by emailing hello@madwaterco.com with your order number.
- Once an order has been dispatched (typically within 24 hours of confirmation), it cannot be cancelled. You may instead refuse the delivery and request a refund as a return.
Returns
We accept returns in the following cases:
- The product arrived damaged or leaking.
- The wrong product or quantity was delivered.
- The product is past its best-before date on arrival.
Email hello@madwaterco.com within 48 hours of delivery, attaching photos of the issue and the order number. We will arrange a reverse pick-up at no cost to you, or refund you against the photo evidence at our discretion.
We do not accept returns of consumed product, opened cans, or product that has been damaged after delivery.
Refund timelines
- Refund is initiated within 2 business days of confirming the issue.
- The refund reaches your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider.
- Refunds for COD orders are processed via UPI to a number you provide, within the same window.
Failed deliveries
If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address you provided, an unavailable recipient on multiple attempts, or a refusal to accept the package without an eligible reason, we may deduct the courier return charges from your refund.
Shipping & delivery timelines
- Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of confirmation on business days.
- Standard delivery within metro cities: 2–3 business days.
- Standard delivery elsewhere in India: 4–7 business days.
- Free shipping on orders above ₹1000. Otherwise ₹150 flat per order.
